Don't Let Anything Push You Away from the Truth!
We are living in an age where everything is being questioned: values, identity, truth, even God. There’s a subtle pull to "rethink" your beliefs, to “deconstruct” your faith in the name of open-mindedness. But beware, not all knowledge is profitable, and not all curiosity leads to clarity. Sometimes, it leads to confusion.
Don’t Let Anything Push You Away from the Truth
Not culture.
Not politics.
Not religion.
Not education.
Not friendships.
Not social media influence.
Don’t allow it.
The moment you begin to second-guess the truth you once held dear, something is happening. The moment you start entertaining thoughts like:
“What if God isn’t real?”
“What if Jesus never really existed?”
“What if it’s all just made-up stories?”
Hey! Snap out of it. You've seen miracles. You've experienced divine encounters. You've felt His presence. You've heard His voice. You know the truth. Don’t let temporary feelings or passing ideas uproot eternal truth.
When you start giving your ears to strange teachings, your mind becomes vulnerable. Confusion enters. Doubt creeps in. Suddenly, you’re trying to fit the spiritual into logical boxes, and it doesn’t work that way.
Spiritual things are spiritually discerned. You cannot walk with God by intellect alone. It takes faith. And faith doesn’t always "make sense" by human standards; it transcends reason.
“For we walk by faith, not by sight.” – 2 Corinthians 5:7
You don’t judge the existence of God by feelings. You don’t measure His power by trends. The world wants you to question the Scriptures, question your faith, and even question God—but that’s not sound Christian practice. We believe His Word. We stand on it. Period.
A Cautionary Example
I once knew a young Christian lady who was offered admission to study Comparative Religion. It sounded like an opportunity to learn more, but what it did was erode her convictions. She began to speak in ways that contradicted Scripture. Her understanding was no longer rooted in truth, but in theories, philosophies, and man-made arguments.
This is the danger of opening your heart to teachings that challenge rather than affirm your faith. Not all knowledge builds. Some corrupt. Some confuse. Some tear down.
In this age of “enlightenment,” we must be discerning. Faith is not blind, but it is firm. It is anchored in the Word of God, not in the ever-changing opinions of society.
Guard your heart.
Guard your ears.
Guard your faith.
Stay rooted in the truth.
Stay grounded in the Word.
Don’t be moved.
"Let no one deceive you with empty words..." – Ephesians 5:6
"Contend for the faith that was once for all entrusted to God’s holy people." – Jude 1:3
You know what you've seen.
You know what you've felt.
You know the truth.
Don’t let anything or anyone talk you out of it.
